Welcome to TrackTab. Our mission is to help you track all your online orders and subscriptions in one place, effortlessly.
To provide this service, TrackTab offers a Google OAuth-based login feature that allows you to securely connect your Google account. Below, we explain what information we access, why we need it, and how we use it to improve your experience.
📋 1. Information We Access via Google OAuth
When you choose to sign in to TrackTab using your Google account, we request permission to access the following:

Basic Profile Information:
Your name, email address, and profile picture — to create your user profile in TrackTab and personalize your experience. -
Email Access (Gmail Read-Only Access):
With your explicit permission, we securely scan your recent emails for order confirmation messages to automatically extract your recent orders (from services like Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy, etc.).
Important: We only read order-related emails and do not store your email content permanently.
🔒 2. Why We Need This Information

Personalization & Authentication:
To securely identify you and provide a seamless login experience without creating a separate password. -
Order Extraction Feature:
To help you track recent purchases automatically, we scan your Gmail inbox for order confirmation emails and extract essential details such as order date, item name, price, and delivery status.
📊 3. How Extracted Orders Are Displayed
Once fetched, your recent orders are displayed in your TrackTab dashboard in a clean, organized list format, showing:

Order date

Merchant name
-
Product description
-
Delivery status (where available)
This allows you to monitor your deliveries in one place without having to manually input or search through emails.
🛡️ 4. Privacy & Data Handling

We never share your data with third parties.

Email content is scanned only temporarily during the order extraction process and is not stored.

You can revoke Google OAuth access at any time from your Google Account settings.
